This event was the most attended and popular. Families brought their own fishing poles to learn how to tie a hook and bobber on their line, put a worm on the hook, and cast out into the William's Park Pond. Kids were also able to catch frogs with nets, buckets and even just their bare hands. Once we collected the frogs there was a presentation on the frogs including the different types of frogs, how to determine the gender, how many eggs they lay, how a frog breaths, and much more. Kids were enthralled with getting into the pond and finding a new way to have fun out in nature.
"I have never seen my son having so much fun outside without playing sports."
"I never even knew this park was here!"
"We are planning on going on a regular hike here."
