Trails
The entrance (if parking at PTAK) from soccer field behind playground has big worn sign. After a short flat, wide walk on gravel it turns into the new bike path which is paved. This is where the parking lot next to the police station is and where the trail would start if parked there. The paved path turns into blue path which is a rocky, dirt path that is a little hilly. This goes under the highway after walking under two bridges there is an opening to the highway on left. It is not beautiful during this portion of the walk with big, old tubes lying on side; however it does lead into a woods area. Then it is necessary to cross a small brook. This part is an easy walk with no brush in the way. The trail continues past a fairly large gazebo, still in the middle of the woods. There is a very small area of a pond and wetlands. After this tree damage blocks the path which means it is necessary to get off path and reconnect in order to pass. When see red/orange marker don't go strait go to the left on wider trail. Here there is a very pretty flowing river. This is the part that makes this trail a level of difficulty there is about 5 minutes of board walk. The beginning is in very rough shape but it gets clearer and better. After the board walk ends there is a small, sharp incline. There is then another small pond. Once hit gazebo go left to the way back to PTAK.
Special: Gazebo, the ponds, the river and bike path.
