Kids enjoyed a hike through the Brookfield Nature Center whilst looking for clues to led them to the treasure chest. All the clues were nature themed and kids learned about wildlife by figuring out what the clue meant. Some wildlife the kids learned about where squirrel, frogs, birds, and honeysuckle. The treasure at the end was located near the magnificent Norwegian Spruce. Once kids explored the treasures, they listened to a story about Ms. Suzy a squirrel who lived in a similar tree.
"It's a smaller park, but great for a quick walk, there is no way to get lost."
"I had no idea that honeysuckle was used in some cough medicine."
